Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia, is a former Soviet republic that’s home to Caucasus Mountain villages and Black Sea beaches. It’s famous for Vardzia, a sprawling cave monastery dating to the 12th century, and the ancient wine-growing region Kakheti. The capital, Tbilisi, is known for the diverse architecture and mazelike, cobblestone streets of its old town.

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Tbilisi.

We’ll begin our walking tour of Tbilisi old town. First we'll visit Sameba Cathedral and Metekhi Church, Then we'll cross the bridge to the Abanotubani district, famous for its sulphur baths. From here we'll travel by cable car to Narikala Fortress. Next, we'll walk along Shardeni Street where you can find lots of souvenir and gift shops. Then we'll visit the most important sights of the city: Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica. Afterwards, we'll travel via Freedom Square to Rustaveli Avenue, the main street in Tbilisi, passing by the
Parliament building and ending today's tour at Kashveti church.

Morning we'll drive to the fortified city of Sighnaghi and visit the Bodbe Monastery. Next we'll continue to Tsinandali, where we'll see the Chavchavadze Museum. Then we'll visit Telavi where we'll enjoy a short walk along the Telavi food market and then travel to the famous Alaverdi Cathedral, Ikalto Academy and Shuamta Monastery Complex. We'll return to Tbilisi hotel via Gombori pass.

Today we'll visit Ananuri fortress, followed by the alpine ski resort Gudauri. Next we'll travel via Cross Pass to Stephantsminda and drive up to Gergeti Trinity Church, enjoying beautiful views of Kazbegi mountain peak and the village. Then we'll return to Tbilisi.

We'll depart in the moening to visit the city of Mtskheta. Here we'll explore the historical and architectural complex of Jvari, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, and Samtavro Convent. Next we'll visit Uplistsikhe, Stalin's birth place, and the Museum in Gori. Then we'll return to Tbilisi.

We'll check out of our hotel at 9:00am and depart to Georgia's second large city Kutaisi. Upon arrival we'll tour the Old Town, where we'll visit Bagrati Temple, the historic and architectural complex of Gelati; and Motsameta monastery. Afterwards we'll check in at our hotel.

Starting the day at 9:00am we'll Depart to Okatse Canyons, a natural monument near the village of Gordi, which is deep and narrow ravine in the vicinity of the river Okatse. Along the canyon we can see several waterfalls. Later, we'll transfer back to Tbilisi.
